The Retire Garrett Campaign presents the Take Back the 5th Town Hall. The purpose of the Take Back the 5th Town Hall is to raise awareness of Congressman Scott Garrett’s horrendous voting record, find someone to challenge Garrett in the 2010 election, and start preparing for the 2010 election campaign. The town hall will feature speeches by 5th District public officials, a discussion on campaign strategies for the 2010 election, and an interactive debate on politics, government, and society. Public officials from across the district have committed to attending so if you are interested in getting involved in politics this is the perfect opportunity.

We are holding the town hall Sunday, March 1 at 2:30 pm at the Mayor’s Council Chambers inside the Demarest Borough Hall (118 Serpentine Rd., Demarest, NJ 07627). You can RSVP, though it is not mandatory, to Mike by e-mail at msimonson19@gmail.com or by phone at 201-572-1030. Below is an easy to read summary of the town hall:

  1. Well, I plan on being there, but it’ll take some time since I’m coming from the far western edge of the district (the one over by Easton, PA – Phillipsburg, NJ).
